Terms and Conditions

  1. Under the BusRoute platform, all 2go Bus Hire UK reservations follow these Terms & Conditions. A booking becomes final and binding upon confirmation, whether verbal or written and upon receipt of the required deposit from the client, if applicable. At this point, the deposit is non-refundable.
  2. In these conditions, “2go Bus Hire UK” refers to “2gobushire.com”
  3. BusRoute-operated 2go Bus Hire UK, along with any associated agents, employees, or subsidiaries, accepts no responsibility for any losses incurred by customers or passengers due to accidents or road traffic delays. Responsibility for such circumstances lies in the group leader, the passengers, and the contractor (driver). Passengers are requested to remain seated while the vehicle is in motion.
  4. BusRoute does not provide, nor is anyone authorised to provide on its behalf any express or implied warranty or representation regarding any bookings.
  5. BusRoute shall be permitted:

(a) We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or withdraw any booked travel, transport, accommodation, or related services if fulfilling the journey becomes impossible for any reason. Should this occur, a full refund will be granted for any service affected. We will promptly inform you of any changes to your travel plans.

Cancellations or refunds may arise from vehicle breakdowns, driver unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances. While we will strive to arrange alternatives, we are not liable for any additional costs incurred for last-minute arrangements, whether made by us or by you.

(b) To refuse transportation, accommodation, or to request the withdrawal of any individual, or to make alternative arrangements, without providing a reason for the refusal.

  1. Transaction charges will be based on the prevailing prices at the time of use. These charges may change without prior notice due to fluctuations in exchange rates or fares.
  2. For 2go Bus Hire UK, the Hirer is responsible for any damage to the vehicle or its fittings caused by their party, whether intentional or due to negligence. The Hirer must cover repair costs and any related losses or downtime that naturally result from such actions. Additionally, 2go Bus Hire UK or the contracted company may seek reimbursement from the client for any expenses incurred due to the client’s actions, such as vehicle diversions. If necessary, 2go Bus Hire UK or its contractor may pursue criminal proceedings against the client.
  3. As a booking agent, 2go Bus Hire UK is not liable for any damage costs incurred by passengers. The Hirer assumes full responsibility for any charges, criminal damages, or compensation directly with the contractor (driver) unless a prior written agreement exists between 2go Bus Hire UK and the contractor. However, 2go Bus Hire UK will work with all involved parties to resolve the issue and may request photographic evidence to support claims.
  4. The journey’s route will be organised by 2go Bus Hire UK, unless the Hirer specifies otherwise, in which case the quotation will reflect those preferences. If the Hirer later agrees with 2go Bus Hire UK or the driver to alter the route, resulting in additional mileage or time beyond the original plan, the Hirer will be responsible for covering the extra costs incurred.
  5. All arrangements for hires are subject to the availability of a vehicle or vehicles of the capacity required at the date and time of the request. 2go Bus Hire UK will not be held responsible for the unavailability of a vehicle for which a quote has been given. Having received a quote does not guarantee the availability of a vehicle. 2go Bus Hire UK has the right to refund and cancel the booking if they cannot fulfil it.
  6. A non-refundable deposit of 40% of the hire charge is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation unless otherwise mutually agreed. If we cannot fulfil your journey request, the deposit will be refunded.
  7. Once a booking is confirmed and the deposit is received, the deposit becomes non-refundable. If a booking is cancelled more than 14 days before the journey, a 40% cancellation fee will apply to the total payment. For cancellations made between 7 and 14 days prior, a fee of 50% of the booking cost will be charged.
  8. For cancellations occurring between 48 hours and 7 days before the journey, a fee of 75% of the booking cost will be due.
  9. If a booking is cancelled less than 48 hours before the journey, the full cost will be charged. Once our client is seated in one of our vehicles, our drivers are authorised to transport you to your destination and back. At this point, 2go Bus Hire UK has fulfilled its contractual obligations, and no refunds can be issued for such bookings.
  10. If the cancelled booking includes additional services, such as meals, accommodation, or ferry charges, and the providers of these services impose cancellation fees, these charges will be passed on to the hirer in addition to the standard cancellation fee.

VEHICLE REQUIREMENT

All vehicles do not require, therefore, safety screens between driver and passengers.

PASSENGER ADVICE

We urge our passengers to take the following COVID-19 precautions when travelling with us, based on the latest guidance from the UK Government for the transport sector.

Avoid travelling if you feel unwell or exhibit any symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19). Although not legally required, we recommend wearing a face covering. Our drivers are instructed to sanitise frequently touched surfaces in their vehicles between trips. For added reassurance, you may use your own disinfectant wipes with the driver’s consent.

Use tissues to cover coughs and sneezes, disposing of them safely after leaving the vehicle. Maintain social distancing by refraining from shaking hands with the driver or sitting next to them. Remember to use hand sanitiser when appropriate and avoid touching your face.

DRIVER ADVICE

To align with the latest UK Government COVID-19 guidelines for the transport sector, we suggest our drivers adopt the following precautions during journeys. Although not mandatory, wearing a suitable face mask or covering is recommended, provided it does not hinder your ability to drive safely. For optimal ventilation, keep the car windows open whenever possible during trips.

Regularly clean your vehicle with gloves and standard cleaning products, paying special attention to door handles and other surfaces passengers may touch. Before loading or unloading passenger luggage, seek permission and ensure your hands are clean or use disposable gloves if necessary.

Use tissues to cover coughs and sneezes, disposing of them properly once you leave the vehicle. Maintain physical distance from your passengers and avoid handshakes. Frequently wash your hands with soap or use hand sanitiser, and try to avoid touching your face.

16. As a Broker and/or Agent, we may subcontract and share journey details with other operators. 2go Bus Hire UK reserves the right to subcontract vehicles from other operators when necessary. All drivers working under 2go Bus Hire UK are fully insured, experienced, and possess Full Operator Licences. Our vehicles may not be sub-let, lent, or licensed by a hirer without the company’s written consent. We reserve the right to provide larger or smaller vehicles than originally ordered to accommodate passengers. In the event of a breakdown, we are authorised to use any alternate vehicles, including taxis. By making a booking, you confirm your acceptance of this policy, and we will not be held liable for any claims you make against us or our suppliers regarding this policy.

  1. A driver (contractor) is responsible for their vehicle during the hire period, and their decisions are final. They hold the authority to deny entry to anyone deemed a nuisance or unsuitable and can request such individuals to exit the vehicle before proceeding with the journey. If at any point the driver feels unsafe, they may choose to discontinue the journey without issuing refunds to the client. In such cases, 2go Bus Hire UK will not be liable for any resulting actions.

17. If a flight is missed, it’s essential for the passenger or the person who booked the service to promptly notify 2go Bus Hire UK. This allows us to inform the driver to avoid entering the airport for pickup. For prepaid journeys, the fare will be refunded after deducting administrative fees. Should the passenger opt for a later flight, we can offer the service at a slightly higher cost. Failing to inform 2go Bus Hire UK will result in the passenger or booker being liable for the full fare, and if prepaid, the fare will not be refunded, resulting in a “No Show.”

“No Show” Policy: If a passenger books a private hire car with us and does not meet the driver at the scheduled pick-up time—whether at an airport, seaport, home, hotel, or any private address—it will be deemed a “no show.” This also applies to bookings with incorrect dates and times.

Should you wish to alter the timing of your transfers after booking, please be aware that additional charges may apply. Such adjustments can disrupt our scheduled operations, necessitating last-minute arrangements for vehicles and drivers, which incur extra costs. A fair portion of this expense will be passed on to the client requesting the change.

Please be prepared for pickup at the agreed time, as delays exceeding 15 minutes may result in extra charges. Adhering to the scheduled itinerary is crucial, as our drivers operate under strict time regulations. If your tardiness causes a delay in subsequent jobs and alternative arrangements cannot be made, the driver may leave, and no refund will be provided.

Ensure the vehicle remains clean, and passengers conduct themselves appropriately. Any damages will incur charges, and if the driver feels unsafe, they are entitled to terminate the journey, requiring you to arrange alternative transportation without a refund.

If the specified vehicle is unavailable, we reserve the right to provide a larger or smaller vehicle to accommodate all passengers. Additionally, we may offer a different branded vehicle, if necessary, at no extra cost.

Furthermore, unless a trailer is booked and prepaid separately at an additional cost of at least £40 each way, we reserve the right not to provide it on the transfer date if circumstances arise. We will typically inform you if this occurs. While we strive to send a vehicle of your choice, this is not always possible due to potential traffic delays or mechanical issues. Therefore, we cannot guarantee a specific vehicle type, nor do we market our service as such, as our primary aim is to ensure continuous service. Driver details are usually provided 1-2 days before the journey. If you do not receive this information, please contact us to request it.

23. If needed, a different coach might bring a group back from their destination than the one that initially transported them. Additionally, coaches may be used for other tasks during the wait at a destination, unless the Hirer specifically requests in advance for the coach to remain with the party, which may incur an additional charge.

24. The Hirer shall be responsible for any expenses related to road and bridge tolls, ferry fees, and parking charges.

25. A key condition of the Hire Contract is that full payment must be made prior to departure unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed upon.

26. In the event of a duplicate payment or an erroneous transaction made by card or bank transfer, a standard administrative fee of 22.5% of the total payment will apply if a refund is necessary.
